Am I mistaken or is there not a single Asimov robot on that list. I don't know all of them on the list. If not then I'm a little surprised.

You forgot the Replicants.

Replicators are the amorphous blobs of micro-tech from stargate. Replicants are the humanoid robots from Blade Runner (though the term i believe also covers the artificial animals from the movie too.).

Sorry hivemind, Cybermen aren't robots. Neither's Robocop. They're cyborgs.

You Forgot Robot Sico (see-co) from the Movie Rocky-IV with Sylvester Stallone.

Why does Sico qualify as a cool Robot?

Because he is the only Robot in the world who is actually a dues-paying member of the Screen Actors Guild. Because he gave a Command Performance at the White House. Because he spoke at the United Nations. Because he recently stared in an episode of Punk'd MTV with Hilary Swank. Because he recently appeared in an episode of Family Guy. Because he stared in a Concert Tour with the late James Brown. Because he stared in a Music Video with Carly Simon. Because he stared in a full season of episodes with the Soap Opera Days of Our Lives. But most importantly, because Sico (also known as Millennia) has been part of an ongoing Research program to study the pioneering science of Technology-to-People Behavioral Psychology, working closely with Children and Adults with special needs all over the world as a therapeutic Surrogate, in Clinics, Hospitals, Schools, Rehabilitation Centers, Senior Centers, etc.

Yes, Sico is WAY COOL in my mind and I have long been a fan of his, following his many travels and activities. He has not only worked more than any other movie/TV robot on your list, but is also a Robot with a Heart, constantly and silently performing a huge volume of socially redeeming work, offering his time to do goodwill work all over the planet. Here are some links that his makers have sent me:
Sico/Millennia: The world's most advanced programmable and remotely controllable Celebrity Robot.

Document School & Hospital Visits:

Please add Sico to your list Tom. He deserves it. I don't know too many Robots anywhere and anytime who have some as much entertainment and benevolent work as Sico/Millennia

Yours truly
Bill Ewing

I agree, Bicentennial Man, and Sonny and VICKI from I Robot must be included. Even if you have to remove some other unknown minor robots.
Robbie from Forbidden Planet, and the "Robot" from Lost In Space get my vote.

I forgot (and you forgot) the three robots from the movie "Silent Running", Huey, Dewey, and Louie if I remember their names correctly.
They were played by amputies in costume so they were only 2 to 2-1/2 feet tall and used their arms to walk.
