How often have you looked at stuff in a movie and thought, "I want that"? Perhaps it was a weapon or a spy device, or even a mundane tool that just looked awesome. I polled the folks out there on the Internet and asked what their favorite movie gadgets were.

Vital Technologies Corporation created the TR-107 Tricorder Mark 1, and it was introduced in 1996 (Extra Credit???).

I guess we have our response to the Lame Prize question - so I will simply say that it's a shame about the "sonic screwdriver" not being eligible as "Doctor Who" is primarily a TV series and not a film/film series. Still, it's cool that "the Guide" at least made the list... especially since we all know that towels and fish aren't gadgets. :-)

what about the 1975 version that was actually a cassette recorder? That is the box that was shown in the video and was made by MEGO corporation.
