Social-bookmarking site Delicious, under new ownership, is staging a comeback with the help of old features and new additions.

When users first head to the newly relaunched Delicious, they'll find much of the same. The branding is the same, and, as before, finding links to bookmark is as simple as inputting a URL from the site or clicking the service's bookmarklet, which can be added to the browser toolbar. From there, users can assign links a title and tags, and share them with others on the site.

Social-bookmarking service Delicious has been purchased by AVOS, the company started by YouTube co-founders Chad Hurley and Steve Chen. Yahoo said in a statement that it will continue to run the Delicious service until about July. User information will then be handed over to AVOS.

The new owners say they'll continue to run the site as it is. On a frequently asked questions page on Delicious, Yahoo says "there may be a time of adjustment as AVOS relaunches Delicious, but the company's intention is to add new features and grow the service overall."

Google today launched an experiment called "+1," a small button alongside links in search results that it says users can click "to give something your public stamp of approval, so friends, contacts, and others can find the best stuff when they search."

When a former Yahoo employee leaked a list of products that the troubled company plans to shut down, many people were up in arms over the fact that one of the items on the list was Delicious--a social-bookmarking company Yahoo acquired in 2005 that still has a handful of loyal users.

But Delicious says it plans to find an exit strategy from Yahoo, not shut down.

Layoffs apparently aren't the only thing Yahoo is doing to slim down size and cut expenses: A screenshot from a company Webcast began circulating Thursday that claims the company will be shutting down Yahoo Buzz, MyBlogLog, Delicious, AllTheWeb.com, Yahoo Picks, and AltaVista; as well as merging and consolidating a handful of other products like geolocation service Fire Eagle and event listing site Upcoming.

The screenshot was originally posted to Twitter by Eric Marcoullier, a former Yahoo employee who had been the founder of MyBlogLog, a Yahoo acquisition that will now be shuttered.
