You don't need a keyboard for your iPad. But, if you're planning on an iPad being a laptop-replacing device, having one can come in very handy for getting writing done. I've played with a lot of keyboard accessories on the iPad, but these are my favorites.
Before the iPad Air, most cases would fit the second-, third-, and fourth-gen models equally. That's no longer the case. So, having used several new solutions and written on each, I've broken my recommendations down into categories of iPad: Air, previous generations, and iPad Mini.

Asus has global ambitions for its PadFone.
A higher-end version of the PadFone Infinity is set to reach the US during the second quarter of 2014, CEO Jerry Shen told Engadget. Shen teased the device's US debut by saying Asus has a big operator lined up but didn't spill any specific names. And after the US, Europe is next on the agenda.
"Once this product is launched [in the US], we will definitely have no problem tackling Europe with the same product, because this US operator is very big." Shen said.

Google is giving you a reason to take a second look at the LG G Pad 8.3. Google and LG on Tuesday unveiled a Google Play Edition of the G Pad 8.3, complete with Android 4.4, or KitKat.

Like the two phones, the G Pad will come with a pure Android experience.

If you have an e-mail inbox that stretches back years and years, searching for a particular e-mail can be a challenge, particularly when using the iPhone Mail app. Many times, my search query returns dozens or hundreds of results, and I find it difficult to sift through them on the small screen of my iPhone 4S (and I don't see it getting much easier next month when my current Verizon contract expires and I upgrade to an iPhone 5S and its slightly larger screen).
Thankfully, there is a handful of search parameters you can use to limit the number … Read more

One caveat: the keyboard's specifications say it supports Android 4.0 or higher, so those of you still stuck … Read more
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has taken notes from 10 million wallets. Samsung has announced it has sold 10 million Note 3 phablets in just 60 days -- clearly the new faux-leather styling is a hit.

To celebrate the milestone, Samsung has compiled a list of its phones that join the 10 million club. … Read more
