Subscribers at Verizon Wireless, AT&T, and T-Mobile will be able to snag LG's new G2 smartphone this month.
Verizon announced on Thursday that the G2 will debut both online and at its retail stores starting September 12. The phone will sell for $199.99 with the usual two-year contract.

BERLIN -- If you were holding off on current OLED TVs because they're too curved, LG aims to flatten that objection.
The company has revealed a flat OLED TV, model 55EA8800, at the IFA 2013 show in Berlin this week. The 55-inch TV comes with a painting-esque frame for that "gallery" chic, which you can examine more closely in the slideshow below.
The set should be available in Germany sometime in September, with "other markets to follow." Pricing was not announced.
LG Electronics officially took the wraps off its much-rumored G Pad 8.3 tablet.
The electronics maker will debut the newest addition to its G series at IFA 2013 next week in Berlin, the company announced Sunday. The new tablet, which weighs less than a pound, will sport an 8.3-inch WUXGA display (1920x1200 pixels), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 1.7Ghz quad-core processor, and a 4600mAh battery. It will also feature a 5MP rear-facing camera and a 1.3MP front-facing camera.

Another 4K TV maker is slashing prices to stay competitive.
LG has confirmed to industry publication TWICE that it's reducing the prices of its 55- and 65-inch 4K TVs by $1,000 and $1,500, respectively.
LG spokesman John Taylor told TWICE that the move was made to "keep LG Ultra HDTVs competitive in the marketplace."
