Few times have so many accessories come out so quickly for something so small. That's just one distinction that belongs to the iPod Shuffle, as evidenced by this Marware travel dock that plugs directly into a USB port, according to iLounge. But if you're really trying to save space--after all, isn't that what the Shuffle is all about?--you might want to consider the IncipioBud, which forgoes the need for a dock altogether.
Just minutes after having noted that laptops face relative neglect when it comes to protective products, we got notice of yet another an iPod safety accessory--thereby proving our point once again. But to show we're not bitter, we're passing along DLO's "Action Jacket" for the Shuffle, a strap-on case for Shufflers on the go.
Ultra-mobile podsters will probably also appreciate the "Power Bug" announced at the same time, a "compact, fold-away" charger that plugs into the wall. It should be noted that DLO isn't just any iPod accessory bandwagon-jumper: Months … Read more
Awhile back we posted an item on a product that could have been the offspring of an iPod-Chocolate union, from a company that produces neither. But LG apparently had such romantic leanings already, for it has given birth to the lovingly named "UP3Flat," a screen-less Chocolate MP3 player that appears aimed at the iPod Shuffle market.
Our cousins at Crave UK describe it this way: "It's about the same size as a lighter and sports a sumptupuous 'piano-black' finish. Its silver volume buttons take the place of the red touch-sensitive navigation buttons on the Chocolate phone.&… Read more
I'm going to be honest: I don't crave the new iPod shuffle. It's too small. I'd probably leave it in a pocket and it'd go through the wash. Or I'd step on it. Or the cat would eat it. Or the Roomba would eat it. Or I'd just lose it.
But for those of you who aren't like me, you're in luck. The practically microscopic second-generation iPod Shuffle, whose delayed release date was the subject of much hand-wringing on the part of Crave's resident postmodernist James Kim, comes out this … Read more
Just a couple of days ago, I was wondering if I was ever going to get my iPod Shuffle, which is supposed to ship sometime in October. Turns out Apple was ever so slightly delayed in getting the tiny LCD-less wearable out to the masses--most Shuffle jones-ers will get their fix the first week of November. I preordered mine and got a notice that my Shuffle would arrive by the end of the week. It seems others will get theirs even sooner, and some stores will have them in stock in the next few days. By the way, the San … Read more
For those of you who have been patiently awaiting the new iPod Shuffle's October coming-out party, you'll have to be a little more patient. In the middle of October, we noted with mild interest that the "world's smallest MP3 player" still hadn't appeared on store shelves. We had suggested that Apple was either waiting for October 31 to reignite its preholiday iPod fervor or that the device was delayed in some Chinese assembly line. Well, our daily call to the San Francisco Apple Store revealed this morning that the Shuffle will be missing its … Read more
