Tim Cook leaves door open for larger iPhone

While Apple maintains that the iPhone 5's 4-inch display is the best around, the company hasn't totally ruled out making a device with a larger screen.

When questioned Tuesday about Apple's stance on a 5-inch screen, CEO Tim Cook didn't exactly expound on the virtues of a larger screen -- in fact, he did just the opposite -- but he never wholly rejected the idea of going bigger either.

iPhone sales hit 35 million last quarter, forecasts analyst

Apple likely sold around 35.5 million iPhones last quarter, according to Piper Jaffay analyst Gene Munster.

In an investors note out Thursday, the analyst cited the 4 million iPhones activated by Verizon last quarter, which represent a 56 percent share of the carrier's smartphone sales and are inline with Munster's expectations.

Speck goes glam with new iPhone 5 cases

While Apple is rumored to be just a few months away from releasing a new iPhone -- or iPhones, depending on what you believe -- accessory makers are still busy releasing new cases for Apple's existing products.

iPhone 5S to offer multiple screen sizes, analyst says

iPhone 5S buyers could have their choice of screen size, according to Topeka analyst Brian White.

Citing information from a meeting with a "tech-supply chain company," White said today he believes Apple will unveil the iPhone 5S in at least two or possibly three different screen sizes.
