While the TV industry figures out what to do with itself as the enthusiasm for 4K, OLED, and 3D trickles out, many of you are making a very basic request. You just want a big ol' honkin' screen.

For an elegant solution that will fit through the door and won't break the bank, you need to ditch the TV and go with a home theater projector.

CNET's running list of the best home theater projectors is the first place to check for the best options available. But since it's a subject we haven't touched on Top 5, I figured I'd walk you through the latest lineup in this week's video.

Top 5: Reasons not to buy the Galaxy S4

If you're an Android fan with a short temper, please turn back now. Watching this video will just send you into hysterics.

Part of my job here at CNET is to play the devil's advocate, and sometimes that requires me to talk trash about products you love. This time around, I'm going to take a poke at a phone that we love as much as you do, the <cnet:product id="35627724">Samsung Galaxy S4</cnet:product>.

You'd be hard pressed to find a smartphone on our site that comes more highly recommend than the S4, but that doesn't mean that it's right for absolutely everybody. So if you're about to press the "add to cart" button on a new Galaxy S4 and you need a friend to talk you down, I'm here for you. Now, go watch my video.

Top 5 uses for Google Glass

<cnet:video ssaVideoId="50144287" playListDisplay="over" interactiveConsole="none" playerSize="blogLarge" float="none" />

I have to admit that Google's <cnet:blog id="57578072">Project Glass</cnet:blog> makes me cringe. It's not that it's ugly (which it is), or that it marks the slow creep of computers into our brains (which it does).

What troubles me is the idea of a population of people with streaming-video cameras dangling off their faces. How could that not create a cultural chilling effect? Even if Google disabled all the cameras -- it's just unnerving having one pointed at you.

Gah! Just thinking about it makes me want to craft my tin foil hat and move off the grid. But I'm trying to see the upside to all of this.

So, as an exercise in positive thinking, I've compiled the Top 5 most practical, appreciable upsides to Google Glass.

<cnet:video ssaVideoId="50143866" playListDisplay="over" interactiveConsole="right" playerSize="blogLarge" float="none" />

Does the world really need an Apple iWatch?

Probably not, but the only thing I'm sure of is that I've been consistently wrong when it comes to guessing what people will buy. I still remember when Apple launched the iPad and I was absolutely certain that the name "iPad" was a kiss of death. I also remember believing in my heart that the Microsoft Zune would eventually win people over.

If Apple does release a smartwatch this year (and the jury's still out on that one), it would have to solve a number of problems not already addressed by a smartphone. CNET's resident smartwatch expert Scott Stein took a stab at nine crucial features the hypothetical iWatch would need to offer. For my part, I lifted my favorite five and turned them into this week's episode of Top 5.

Enjoy, and please add your own feature requests in the comments below.
