• On TV.com: TOP 10 Shows CANCELED Too Soon

CNET TV

June 20, 2007 3:51 PM PDT
Hundreds of thousands of you have watched our top 5 on the worst things about the iPhone and strangely, few have commented to me about it. So I thought we'd give you a chance to talk back here on the old CNET TV blog.

Take this opportunity to add your own worst things about the iPhone, or tell us why we're all messed up in the head and paid for by Microsoft for ever saying something nasty about an Apple product. It's your choice.

If you haven't seen the Top 5 in question yet, go take a gander at it on CNET TV and then stop back afterwards.

And in order to maintain balance, we'll feature the Top 5 things to LOVE about the iPhone on Monday.

OK, so we weren't able to book the iPhone this week (it had previous engagements) but Tom and Brian did snag the next best thing--iPhone experts. And they aren't just some Joes off the street. CNET Reviews Senior Editors Donald Bell and Kent German will be joining us on CNET Live! Cooley, German and Bell will look under the hood of the iPhone and discuss whether it's worth the hype, or just a bunch of tripe.

Speaking of Apple, CNET Live will feature the best of this year's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), with fresh videos of Steve Jobs talking business, straight up. Plus, Veronica Belmont's Eye on the iPhone segment will reveal what's churning in today's iPhone rumor mill.

And more: Tom's and Brian's Crave picks, Download of the Week, as well as the Best of the Web. And like every week, the boys will be taking your calls at 888-900-CNET up to 20 minutes before the show. Call early to get a chance to be CNET Live's first caller of the show!

Make sure to take a bite of this week's Apple-themed show, and watch Tom and Brian in all their tech glory today at 1 p.m. PDT.

Pixelodeon 2007

by Veronica Belmont
Once again I find myself in Los Angeles! I'm starting to feel like a regular. Two weeks ago I was here for the Star Wars anniversary, and now I'm back for Pixelodeon!

What is Pixelodeon? It's an entire weekend of hand-picked online videos (more than 300 of them!) book-ended by speakers and attended by a sold-out audience of media enthusiasts. I was honored to be asked to curate one of these screenings, along with Bre Pettis of Make Magazine. So here I am, sitting in a hotel room on Sunset Boulevard at 11 p.m. (listening to the club next door blast Michael Jackson), and hoping that the videos we picked are going to be a hit tomorrow during our showing. We titled our section "D.I.Y. with a side of robots." Go figure!

But there's a whole lot more going on at Pixelodeon--I unfortunately missed the first keynote of the weekend, from Kent Nichols and Douglas Sarine of Ask A Ninja. If anyone can speak to making a successful video project online, it would be them. Fred Seibert also gave an address to the enthusiastic crowd, and I'll have some video up of that soon (my tape ran out in the middle, real professional).

The event is organized by Jay Dedman, Ryanne Hodson, Zadi Diaz, Steve Woolf, and Irina Slutsky. They've done a wonderful job, and the turnout so far has been fantastic.

Time to sleep and recharge all my batteries. Pictures and video to come soon!
