The 404 446: Where the cheese stands alone
Created: 10/16/2009
Video description: Even though I definitely messed up the title format and everything else for that matter, today's show is still "Where the cheese stands alone," because you get to witness the pain as I try to record a SOLO podcast. That's right, Jeff is out and Wilson called in sick, so I'm left to fend for myself with the generous help of a few friends along the way.

PK Silver: "Rainforest Song"

I believe that although we smile, think happy thoughts and all try to get along peacefully, deep down we are hurting for we know the planet, our brothers and sisters, and all of earth's creatures are in serious danger because of global warming and because of the shrinking rainforests. I find I tell myself that I shouldn't care because it's already too late. But that way of thinking is dead wrong. I think we all do care. And it will never be too late to change our behaviors and do what is right. Our nations are democrocies and we should all do everything in our power to create clean air and forests forever. So I guess, this is what "The Rainforest Song" music video is about. It's about hope. It's about change. It's about living on a healthy planet that we can pass on for many generations. Also, the good elves in the video represent humankind's positive aspect, whereas the evil elves represent humankind's negative aspect. Yours, PK SILVER

RachelAPP: "My Pain"

This is an animation video for RachelAPP's song "my pain". Using simple animation movements and characters, the video highlights the song's central theme, loss, in an almost childish way. The song's central theme revolves around the loss of someone close, and the pain it brings. The music is upbeat, as if the person left alone is trying to cheer herself/himself up. The video translates this by using simple animation, bubble-gum colours and characters and yet, it depicts a situation of loss.

The 404 428: Where we prune the hedges of many small villages

What happens when one extremely popular tech TV show with an attractive female host blatantly takes the slogan of a much lesser known Internet radio show with three mildly humorous, if not a bit awkward, post-pubescent manboys? You're about to find out on today's episode of The 404, where Attack of the Show's GadgetPr0n stole our tagline, "High Tech, Low Brow." Now, I'm a little unwilling to compromise my relationship with Olivia Munn, the , but Jeff and Wilson are heated and propose an all-out battle for the right to the slogan!

"National Lampoon's Barely Legal" trailer

There's an excruciatingly difficult time in every young man's life between when he starts thinking about sex and when he can actually do something about it. Meet Deacon (Eric von Detten), Matt (Daniel Farber), and Fred (Tony Denman), three typical American teenagers stuck right in the middle of that horrible age when it seems like life is passing you by while you're just standing still. They'll do anything for even a glimpse of sex and spend their mornings pirating X-rated movies from Fred's after-school job at the video store. But when Fred is fired, the well runs dry, and the young entrepreneurs come up with a new plan: make their own "adult" film. Along the way, they interview a gaggle of toothless hookers, butt heads with Deacon's nemesis Jake (Riley Smith), befriend the sexy but no-nonsense stripper turned actress Ashley (Sarah Jane Potts), and fuel the wrath of local porno king Vic Ramalot (Horatio Sanz). It isn't long before our heroes have to get themselves out of the mess they've gotten into - which turns out to be the wackiest series of misadventures ever to take place in high school. Directed by David M. Evans. Also starring Tom Arnold and Amy Smart.
