No show tomorrow, but look out for two special throwback episodes coming your way Friday and Sunday. Anyway, onto today's stories. As the title states, we're taking a trip back to our childhood and remembering some of our favorite Smashing Pumpkins songs and music videos.
Today's episode is all about technology that is so ridiculous, it calls for someone to exclaim "kill me." That, or it could actually kill you. Man, that's depressing. We lighten things up with the surfing equivalent of Roller Blades. Come to think of it, that might not be all that safe either.
If it's not a right angle, it's a wrong angle. That's exactly the ethos that has inspired the type of precise, structured and rigidly useful gadgetry that we highlight in today's episode.
We're very happy to welcome you to our 1024th episode, which as we know means we will no longer to count the shows in binary on two hands. But that's OK. We will still be doing shows. Because we have more hands. And our eleven-finer listeners can still count on two hands. We also have a date for Windows 7. He's nice. They'll like him.
We speculate even more on the rumored large-format Kindle, and get the announcement date wrong right from the start. What, we're supposed to read press releases? Also on the rumor front, we discuss Apple's interest in buying Twitter and Electronic Arts. Somethings just not sitting right about this one.
