>> I don't know what to call this. I mean, literally it has no name. It's Pontiac's new sports truck. Based on the G8, coming from their Holden Division in Australia but it has no name. They're going to leave that up to users who can take part in an internet-based naming contest. Now this vehicle should delight the long-sideburned crowd, those who missed the '69 El Camino or Ranchero. In fact, the 361-horsepower Corvette-related, 6-liter V8 should really sling 'em back to the old days. The bed is 6 feet long but not really set up to carry much and of course it will burn a ton of gas with that big motor, not exactly a car for the times. Don't look for a lot of tech in the cabinet. Bluetooth may be one of the high watermarks. The sports truck arrives summer of '09, should be starting around 30K. Meanwhile, you can help name it at www.pontiac.com/namethiscar and I suspect "I don't get it" has already been submitted. [ Music ]
