>>Ford's really taken apart the old Taurus idea and brought it back as a whole new kind of car. Starting here in the inside, this is reminiscent of the Ford Flex, in terms of the layout, also, the quality of materials and the general luxury feel. Taurus is going fairly up-market as well, starting around $26,000. Now V6 power is in the picture. What really gets me is the styling has really grown up and become quite sophisticated and they're trying to break through like they did with the original Taurus. That was a landmark in automotive design. This one definitely is going to grab a lot of attention, if not be quite that much of a landmark. The interior technology and cabin tech over all is pretty impressive as well. Adaptive cruise control, a transmission with paddle shifters, so you can really get into a sport mode, with rev matching, by the way. Ford Sync, obviously the version 3.0, the new one, Sony-branded premium audio, power from a 3 1/2 liter eco-boost V-6, that's a direct injection engine, by the way. Giving you somewhere around 260 horsepower and of course, good fuel economy because it has a fuel shut-off technology, so when you're not under load, you're not burning a lot of gas. ^M00:01:20 [ Music ] ^M00:01:26 Now if someone's lurking over here in your blind spot, you'll know it, because this new Taurus will offer blind spot information system. We've seen that on Volvo already.
