>> Lot of news from Infinity here at the Geneva show this year. Wait a minute, Infinity's not sold in Europe. That's part of the news. They will be. Coming to Western Europe now with the Infinity line, for the first time the Old World gets a chance to buy one of the most tech laden brands of cars made on the globe. This should be big news to the car market here. Along with that announcement comes this guy, the new FX, FX 50 at the high end. A 5.0-liter gas V8, in a country with a lot of diesels, 390 horsepower, gobs of torque, seven-speed automatic, and some interesting bells and whistles. It'll be bringing Infinity's Around-View technology, which uses four cameras around the car to create a synthetic video bird's eye view, or let you see almost uninterrupted around the entire left, right, front, or back of the car more at a ground level view. It's crazy tech, no matter where you are in the world, and in this continent, it's gonna be a first of its kind. Other technologies that'll be coming down the road, but will take a while, include lane departure prevention. Now why will that take a while? Infinity's already got that on the market? Because in Europe, the software has to be rewritten. Roads are different, so it might be, I don't know, maybe another model year before that comes out. Also, Infinity's gonna be rolling out a stop and go bumping management technology. It's a brake assist. It'll make it easier for you to lift off the throttle and stop the car without banging in the car in front of you. It's kind of a congestion, inner city, fender-bender prevention tech. Oh and by the way, if you're drooling over this new FX 50 - and I gotta tell you, it's a looker - it's not just for Europe, of course. This is gonna be going to all of Infinity's market. So we'll get this guy, too. ^M00:01:49 [ Music ]
