Even though it's arguably the best built car of any of them. Why that disparity? The power goes out through an H speed automatic again a technological wonder that really makes you think would I ever want a manual gear box again. On the inside this car exudes a nice clean modern look. Look at the old party filigree you'll find in a Jag or a Bentley typically so nothing here should a fun day younger affluent consumer. Interior cabin deck basically all the toys are here at Lexus does it really well. Bluetooth is base. You don't get navigation standard but even if you don't option that you do get this gorgeous 7-inch touch screen LCD as a general interface for the car. The audio system is great. I can like imagine Mike Levinson audios optional, cassette deck for some reason is standard, aux jack is standard, I photographed there's a maps. And look at that dumb map that's the best one in the industry period. Even the new top of the line Mercedez system isn't quite that good that is stunning interface, beautiful graphics, really easy to use, nothing wrong here in the text section. Now there is the issue of the lack of a sports halo for Lexus. Where Mercedez has AMG and BMW has M and Audi has their SRS cars, Lexus is just beginning to roll out the F Series after almost 20 years in the market and this car won't get F treatment until around 2012 we hear when it gets a V10 that might be part of what's keeping a younger demo from driving what they think is strictly a luxury car. Now's where I heard chewing a great miles of highway, one would abandon. This car is very capable but doesn't feel sporty that's part of the cracks of the issue where Mercedez definitely has the prestige brand still cornered after all these years and BMW has a lot of burning rubber in their DNA. Lexus still speaks to me of wine tastings and golf tournaments and supporting the arts. That's kind of a wrong image for a certain younger costumer unlike the other competitors from Germany Lexus LS outsells this G car by far. If you look at BMW it's different. The 7-series is no match for 5-series sales. Look at Mercedez the S-class is no match for E-class sales. So Lexus is almost is almost a victim of their own success as a luxury brand. Let's place our underestimated little friend about 53, 3 is your base. You're gonna get a touch screen LCD as I mentioned, aux in , Bluetooth, and a lot of other nice things for that price plus that great motoring transmission. If you wanna go full high tech with Levinson, navigation, rear view camera, and some other toys it's gonna cost between 5 and 7 thousand more in some big bulky packages.
