>> Coming hot on the heels of the Shelby GT 500 here's the KR which ups the ante. Horsepower at 540, torque at 510, they tweaked the five point four liter super charged V8. It's basically a tuning job. But fortunately the suspension was given some attention this time. It's still the ancient live axel rear end but they've done a lot of finessing of the spring rates and the attachment points and all those little things that make a suspension more compliant. Just a thousand of these will be made. Easy to spot, look for the dual scoop carbon fiber front hood, very much like the original KR and those unique Shelby designed wheels. They'll be eighteen inch in production not the twenties you see here. Also look for the functional brake cooling intakes under the front air dam. Best part is, Ford promises that the KR will have a sharper exhaust note which we really thought the GT 500 deserved. ^M00:01:00 [ Music ]
