>> And we showed you the Nissan GT-R when it made its debut at the Tokyo Motor show, but here in L.A, we get to show you what I think is the coolest instrument panel, ever. Look at this LC display here. You've got a whole variety of modes. One through four are your own custom pre-sets. In this one I've got a huge boost gauge, trendy oil temp and engine oil temp. I can move over to number two and there, I can move through another set of gauges that are predefined. Here's a completely fresh set. Set number three, to do that, I wanna select the gauge, I just go down to the gauge, press it, choose what I want to put there. Let's say I'm a real big fan of transmission oil temperature and I want a big display of it. There it is. Hit this gauge. What do I want there? Let's put engine oil temp right by there, I'm going to go oil crazy, and one more give me engine oil pressure. So, that's my oiling screen and I can keep doing that for several of these up and down that are custom. Then A through G are pre-set Nissan screens. Here's acceleration in G across time with boost and accelerator pedal position. Move to the next one, what do we got here? Breaking G, break pedal position. Under C, I've got cornering G, steering position. D gives me gear efficiency, as well as gearing speed. Under E, I find a bunch of fuel calcs. F brings me a stopwatch, my rally counter if you will. And here's my driver's note. I mean, this is an amazing fast and furious screen. No one's done this before that we have seen, and this is on a real car. So that's the custom ultra instrument panel in the forthcoming Nissan GT-R, hopefully US 2009. ^M00:01:36 [ Music ]
