>> Alright, so the standard Viper may be not powerful enough for you, for whatever reason. Here's one that has a little more hot sauce splashed on it. This is the Viper SRT-10 ACR: stands for American Club Racing. Very fast. Six hundred horse power. Five hundred and 60 foot pounds out of an 8 point 4 liter V10 locomotive engine. And of course the visual cues are obvious. Check out the canards around the corners of the front shin. Crazy wing in the back. Carbon fiber tips that are real. Different wheel and paint treatment. It's a very serious car. And they've taken about 40 pounds out of it along the way to make this ACR model. Want to go even faster? Then you can select what they call the "hard core" option. They take off another 40 pounds and it's hard. One, say goodbye to the audio system, no sound proofing under the hood, goodbye to the trunk mat -- you don't need that anyway. No air pump in case you get a flat. And you get carbon fiber doors. That's why they call it hard core. In the cabin, not much new to report. Still the tackiest instrument panel in production, but that's okay. You're not going to be looking at that. You'll be going so fast you'll be staring straight ahead or at the widening stain in your pants. While this may not be your ultimate daily commuter, I suspect the ride's a little taut shall we say?
