Batman wouldn't fit. Neither do I really. I mean it just works out, but once I get enough legroom, the back of the seat has to crawl up because I'm up against the rear bulkhead. Once I get that right, then I don't have enough legroom and when I get the height adjusted, then I lose some of the back incline or something. So it's just not big enough for me at 6 2 plus. I think if you're under 6 feet, this car would be fine. Let's get on to the cabin tech. We have an interesting navigation system in this car. You hit that button and that screen rolls open, pops awake and gives you an interface that isn't iDrive. So do you steer this thing? You use the right hand knob of the audio module right here. So you turn this to go to either the onboard computer with the fuel stats and drive time and all that. Another click takes you over to the GPS nav, another one goes to your phone menu. We do have Bluetooth in this car. Navigation looks like so. I want to get down to the map, I have to scroll down here. I hit that. There's our interface to the actual map graphic. You do have this button over here to alter the angle. To get rid of sun glare. Moving on to the audio system. On our car has been hotted up with a THX certified Carver branded system. 10 speakers, god knows where they put them, plus 2 subs, ditto. And it sounds really good. You've got an interesting mix of settings for it. First of all, you can go to the menu and go to DSP as I showed you to go into the various digital system-processing settings. But if you go to tone, that's where you get the more traditional bass, treble, fader and balance. Now here's our single disk slot, right on the top here. We also have AM FM of course, Sirius as an ala carte option, HD radio also as an option and an iPod interface is also available ala carte. I love this part here. Little nuclear launch buttons down here if you want to reach them for a service issue or for an SOS emergency, under this clever little clear plastic lid. That's very cool. Back here, we've got a binnacle where you have the DVD drive for the navigation and I expect that's where the 6-disk changer would go. The vehicle comes prewired for the changer by the way. Now the engine in this car is a 3-point 2 liter, inline 6, no turbos or tricks, naturally aspirated, uses the double Veinos exquisite variable valve technology. A butterfly valve on each of the six cylinders. The numbers are 330 on the horsepower, and a suspect 262-foot pounds of torque. It feels like a lot more than that. This car has got oomph when you get into it. And if you want a little bit more pepper on your pasta, you've got a button right here called sport. That's going to put you into a dynamic driving mode that gets the engine to respond more immediately. That modifies the whole engine intake programming so the engine is just that much more eager to get up and go. Okay, let's price our Z4M Coupe. Base with delivery charge is about 51000. You're going to pay 750 for BMW assist with Bluetooth, 1800 for that rather regrettable nav system. I'd actually pass to be honest. 500 more for HD radio. IPod and Sirius dealer installed, that means dealer haggled, or get the premium package with the Carver audio, BMW assist and Bluetooth and power seats, that's 2850. ^M00:03:38 [ Music ]
