>> Let's take a lot at our main head unit here. This is part of the optional ala cart navigation system. The screen's a good size, particularly adequate and the positioning that I found is good as well. Your navigation is not touch screen here. To get to these various function buttons around the corner, remember you've got these analogous corner buttons around the jog wheel; so if I want to pull up the source menu in the upper right I hit this button here in the upper right. Let's talk about some of the things we've got here otherwise mechanically. The screen tilts up, press that button, tilts down I should say, here's your slot for your DVD Rom for navigation. You don't play anything in there, and here are these two annoying SD card slots where you can put in media cards. Here is your AM-FM button which can also bring up the one flavor of satellite radio which we have which is serious; here's your CD SD button, that's the one that goes between CD's or your MP3's as they call it which is the SD slots. In terms of the discs you will play since that's not your audio disc player behind there, this is your audio disc player in here. Six disc changer, CD, my MP3 discs aren't playing in there; that's disappointing. Here are your telephone controls; you have the telephone menu there but also the name button next to it. Now that is slick because this indicates that Audi still has cutting edge Bluetooth for bringing directory information, phonebook entries from your phone into your head unit. Of course I showed you the NAV but let's get to the actual map itself. Screen quality on the map rendering is good; not the best in the biz; a little jaggy, a little bit of aliasing going on around fonts and such, but I like the fact that we've got a very useful bird's eye view as one of our choices here and in general it's an easy enough system to use. Now we have the Bose audio option on this car; 9 Bose branded speakers throughout the cabin; you know I like the sound of it but I don't love it. Now of course this car's got a big piece of physical [assumed spelling] tacked on it; the Cabriolet top. It's a cloth drop top with a rather fancy bit of work that goes on in the back to put the top between the passenger and the trunk. As a result you end up with a good amount of useable trunk space when the top is down. Now I did mention there's a pretty good amount of trunk space with the top down once you take this thing out of the trunk. This is not a picnic table in a bag, though it's as big as one; this is Rue Goldberg's design for a rear wind deflector tonneau cover thing; look how this works. You feed this back into here; lock that against the back seats, Aah, now your pinched fingers and you can go for a drive without all kinds of turbulence around your head. Motive power as you might have guessed, 2 Liter, Inline 4, single turbo, inner cooled, dual overhead cam, 4 valves per pot [assumed spelling], direct fuel injection, it's Audi's FSI rig. In general this is a car that does what, 200 horsepower, 200 and something, 210 foot pounds around that range. Okay let's price our 2.0 Turbo Cabrio; 41, 2 is our base for this little rag top with the turbo inline 4. Now we add a three thousand dollar for the S-Line package. Then on top of that we have a 2100 dollar Navigation option ala cart; 1,000 dollars for the premium Bose audio, it included serious; 500 more for the Bluetooth hands free technology; 450 for heated seats, another 475 for this paint job; all in this is about a 50,000 dollar car. ^M00:03:33 [ Music ] ^M00:03:38
