The 10.1-inch Lenovo S6000 Video
The 10.1-inch Lenovo S6000 Video Transcript
Hello. I'm Luke Westaway for CNET here at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. We're taking a look at the Lenovo S6000, a 10.1-inch tablets. All right. So this is a fairly basic android tablet that 10.1-inch screen has a 720p resolution which looks pretty good. And inside there's a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor which keeps everything running with a pleasing snap. Around the sides, one nice treat is a micro HDMI ports which means you'll be able to put this tablet up to your TV and export what's going on the screen so you can watch your videos, home movies and stuff or things you downloaded from Google Play on the big screen. It also got a microSD card so you can expand its available storage. It weighs about 560 grams and it's about 8.6 mm thick which means that it is quite possible and it definitely feels quite thin and light in my hands. That's so-- though it does feel a little bit plasticky so there is not trade off to be made there. This doesn't feel quite as luxurious as, let say, the iPad. Around the back, there's a 5 megapixel camera and there's a front-facing camera as well which would help you out when you want to make some video calls. It's running Android version 4.2 Jellybean which is a very recent version of Google's mobile operating system. So, it's coming out later this year. I think basically, it's all gonna come down to pricing. If this is a lot cheaper than equivalent-size devices like the iPad or say, Samsung's Galaxy Note 10.1, then it could be quite tempting device but if it is too expensive and there wouldn't be much reason to bother. I'm Luke Westaway for CNET and this is the Lenovo S6000.
With a seven-inch screen and appealing price, Lenovo hopes the new A1 finds a place in the hot Android tablet market.
Don't let the 20-inch screen fool you. The Lenovo C300 is still a Nettop, and thus still not worth your money. With its terrible performance and limited convenience benefit, a true budget PC or a Netbook would be a wiser purchase.
If you're looking for a comfortable Netbook with a 12-inch screen, theLenovo IdeaPad S12 feels comfortable and light--but it's no ultra-lowvoltage laptop.
With its Nvidia Tegra 3 1.2GHz quad-core processor, the IdeaTab A2109 is a swift tablet with a 9-inch screen.
Lenovo's ThinkPad Tablet packs the best of Google's Android 3.1 into a durable, Enterprise-ready, 10-inch tablet.
The 5-inch Asus Padfone Infinity docks with a screen to become a 10-inch tablet... and empties your wallet.
It's a first-time battle between two of the most unique touch-screen ultrabooks you'll ever see. Lenovo's Yoga 13 brings a rotating screen that can take on any form factor you want. The Asus Taichi 21 brings a dual-screen ultrabook that can also be a tablet. Who will be crowned king of the ring?
The Yoga's 13-inch screen can flip all the way around and fold flat on the back, turning the laptop into a tablet. Or, it can stand up on its front edges like a tent (called Tent mode). It can also be used with the keyboard side down and the screen bent back, becoming almost like a tiny tabletop touch-screen all-in-one (Stand mode).
The Archos 7 Home Tablet is short on features, but delivers the Android OS on a 7-inch screen, for an affordable price.
Is the Galaxy Note 8 worth the $400 price tag? Molly Wood and Jeff Cannata unwrap the 8-inch Samsung tablet and offer up their first impressions.
